Debenhams Fashion Show September 2009

We were invited to perform at Debenhams in Stockport to show case our fantastic dancing and show off their great outfits, it was great fun and all did a great job

Tapping a Mile

In May 1996 the Top Hat Tappers went along to the Manchester Velodrome and tap danced a mile around the Velodrome track. This was done in aid of the Macmillan Cancer Charity.

Needless to say all the tappers kept off the banked part of the track!

Tapping in a Car Park

The location is Cheadle Hulme shopping centre car park and the event was for a local radio station. Top Hat Tappers were heard all over Stockport, Cheshire

Tapping at Cadmans

• Top Hat Tappers has performed on numerous occasions:
• along with other local dance schools,
• at the Lymm Festival, and
• many times at the Cadmans Dance centre

Other Styles of Dance

For many years with the trends and popularity of other styles of dance I have also taught, adult ballet for 2 years in Heaton Mersey and Sale. American Line Dancing for 4 years in Cheadle Hulme, Cheadle, Lymm, Sale, and Bramhall and Latin-in-line for 3 years in Cheadle, Cheadle Hulme, Lymm and Bramhall. These phases seemed to have come and gone and they were all great fun to teach and participate in, all classes were busy and popular. I am now only teaching the Adult Tap as I did when I started back in 1996. The rest of my week is now filled with looking after my little boy Rory who is a little joy and absolutely loves singing and dancing - I wonder where he gets that from!?

To all those people who took part in my classes of Ballet, American Line and Latin-in-line, thank you for your enthusiasm, fun and support over the years they were popular. Many of you I still think of fondly. I know some of you now come to Tap Dancing - great.
